KWHI TO HOST “CANDIDATES FORUM” OCTOBER 12TH
KWHI is preparing to host a “Candidates Forum” for the locally contested race of Washington County Commissioner of Precinct One in November’s election.
Both of the candidates for the position—Republican incumbent Don Koester and Democrat Shirley Harris-Jackson—have been invited to the forum, set for Monday, October 12th at 5:30 p.m. in the KWHI studio in downtown Brenham.
Due to COVID-19, the forum will not be open to attendance from the public. However, the public can still submit questions to be asked during the forum by emailing mail@kwhi.com.
KWHI’s Ed Pothul will moderate the forum and take questions from the public and from news media.
The forum can be heard live on KWHI AM 1280 and FM 101.7, or streamed via kwhi.com and the KWHI mobile app. It will also be broadcasted live on KWHI's Facebook page.
