GRAHAM MASONIC LODGE DONATES PENS, PENCILS TO BURTON ISD

Graham Masonic Lodge has donated hundreds of pens and pencils to Burton ISD.
After donating 2,500 pens and 2,500 pencils earlier this month to Brenham ISD, the lodge on Monday presented Burton ISD with 500 pens and 500 pencils for use by students and teachers of the district.
The first schools in Brenham, those being Hickory Grove and Masonic Academy, were funded and maintained by Graham Masonic Lodge until the public education system came into being.
The lodge was chartered in 1845 during the Republic of Texas, and is beginning its 176th year of service to the community.
