UNITY THEATRE HOSTING VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER

  

Unity Theatre has announced a major change to its fundraising for 2021.

The theatre’s Board of Directors has decided to cancel the annual fundraising gala this year due to Covid-19 concerns.  In its place, the theatre will hold its first online auction fundraiser.

General Manager Lisa Thomas says a plan is now being developed for a virtual gala auction.

Bidding will be open for one week only and begins Monday, Nov. 30 at 9 a.m. and continues through Monday, Dec. 7 at 9 p.m.

Auction items can be viewed in-person in the Unity Theatre lobby beginning Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and continue every weekday through the bidding period.   Masks and social distancing are required while visiting the theater.

Winning bidders will be notified by email, and may pick up auction items at the theater on Dec. 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
