The City of Brenham invites residents to share their appreciation for city employees for their work during the recent winter storm.

The city is taking notes by mail and through social media in an effort to give thanks to crews and staff, who the city says were “all hands on deck” during the arctic blast.

Letters will be given to all employees who assisted, such as firefighters, police officers, call center employees, electric department crews, IT officials, parks and recreation crews, and warehouse employees.

Notes can either be mailed to Brenham City Hall at P.O. Box 1059 Brenham, TX 77834-1059, or they can be shared on the city’s Facebook page.

  1. The water and gas department weren’t included in the list and those were the guys that were away from their families out in the cold fixing all the main leaks so the city could have water. They are the one that for sure need to get a thank you note in my opinion.
