CONGRESSMAN KEVIN BRADY ANNOUNCED RETIREMENT AT END OF TERM
Long-time U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady, who formerly served Washington County, has announced this will be his last term in the U.S. House.
Brady, who was first elected in 1996, is one of the most senior members of the Texas delegation and a powerful member of the House Republican conference.
The announcement was widely expected as Brady was facing a term limit in his role as the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee.
Brady, a South Dakota native, who resides in Conroe, was first elected to Congress in 1996.
