SAFETY DAY AT BBAC ADJUSTED DUE TO RAIN

  

Update @ 10:10 a.m.: The forecast of rain has caused some changes to today’s (Monday) Safety Day event at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center.

The Brenham Police and Fire Departments will no longer be in attendance at today’s event, which is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m.  The departments will look to reschedule their appearance at the aquatic center later this week.

The KTEX-106 remote broadcast that was scheduled for today will also be moved to sometime later this week.

Original Story @ 6:04 a.m.: Today (Monday) marks the start of National Aquatic Week at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center.

Every day this week, the aquatic center will feature a different theme and associated activities to offer summer fun.

Today is Safety Day, so the aquatic center will host several local first responders to bring awareness to water safety.

From 1 to 5 p.m., guests will hear presentations from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Brenham Police and Fire Departments, and Washington County EMS.
