TWO PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT THIS WEEK
Two people pled guilty to felony offences and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court this week.
Fredrick Deshawn Pleasant, age 38 of Houston, was sentenced to 12 months in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Elizabeth Nichole Briscoe, age 37 of Beaumont, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication for Criminal Mischief between $2,500 - $30,000. She was also ordered to pay $6350 in restitution and perform 100 hours of community service.
