BRENHAM MAN FACES ASSAULT CHARGE FOLLOWING ARREST

A Brenham man is in police custody after his arrest on an assault charge.
Thursday, just before 4:00 p.m., Brenham Police responded to the 1500 block of Plymouth Ln. in reference to an assault.
Following an investigation, 38-year-old Anthony Contee of Brenham was taken into custody for Assault of a Family Member—Impeding Breath/Circulation.
Contee was transported to the Washington County Jail.
