BIG STAR TEXAS NIGHT SATURDAY AT LA BAHIA HALL
The 11th Annual Big Star Texas Night is set for this weekend at the historic La Bahia Hall in Burton.
Saturday night’s event will run from 6 to 11 p.m. and will feature music from Sean Orr and Texas Gold, along with Texas singer-songwriter Larry Joe Taylor. There will also be silent and big board auctions, a drawing and a catered meal from Sandtown Catering.
Burton Chamber of Commerce President James Schulenburg says a stellar lineup of entertainers over the years has made the event a big hit.
Individual tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for children 10 and under. Corporate tables are sold out.
A portion of Chamber proceeds from the event will go toward scholarships for Burton High School seniors.
Tickets are available at the Texas Cotton Gin Museum or online at www.burtontexas.org. Tickets purchased online will include a $2 service fee per ticket.
