BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGES

A Brenham woman was arrested on assault charges Tuesday.
Brenham Police report that at 1:00 PM Tuesday, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Charles Lewis Street, in reference to an Assault. Upon arrival, the investigation revealed the suspect identified as Kira Marie Gessner, 30 of Brenham, was the aggressor. Gessner was later transported to Washington County Jail and booked in for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
