SUSPECT CRASHES INTO DEPUTY’S CAR AFTER CHASE OUT OF WALLER CO. ENDS IN BRENHAM
A suspect is in custody after a chase on Highway 290 out of Waller County ended in Brenham Monday afternoon with a crash into a deputy’s vehicle.
According to a notice from the City of Brenham, a pursuit came into the city from Waller County and ended with the suspect crashing into a deputy’s car on Highway 290, in front of Las Fuentes Mexican Restaurant.
The city said all officers involved are okay.
Details of what led up to the pursuit and crash are limited, and the suspect’s identity has not been released. KWHI has reached out to the Waller County Sheriff’s Office for more information.
