BRENHAM GOLF TEAMS END SEASON AT DISTRICT TOURNAMENT

The season came to end at the District 19-5A Tournament for the Brenham High School Golf Teams.

On the boys’ side, Magnolia West was the winning team with a score of 647 over the two-day event.

The Cubs finished sixth overall with a two-day team score of 721.  Brenham also entered a second team that finished 11th with a two-day team score of 869.

Grant Chisholm was the leading golfer for Brenham shooting a 88 on the first day and an 84 on the second day for a total of 172, which was good for 16th overall.

The rest of the team included Jared Mueller, Dalton Winklemann, Ashton Behrens, and Michael Joswiak.

The second team that Brenham entered consisted of Jake Forland, Dylan Rodriguez, Matthew Black, and Jackson Van Dyke.

On the girls’ side, the Cubettes had a player disqualified on the first day, and therefore didn’t have the minimum four players to place. The second day, they finished fifth with a 417.

Magnolia won the tournament with a 700 team score for the two-day event.

Addison Schramme finished 13th overall.  She shot a 98 on the first day, and a 97 on the second day for a two-day total of 195.

Rounding out the team were Bianca Garcia, Madison Rogers, and Adie Bogan.
