BRETT CLINE TO PERFORM MUSIC OF BILLY JOEL AT THE BARNHILL CENTER

  

The music of Billy Joel will be celebrated with the next show at The Barnhill Center in Brenham later this month.

Brett Cline, a New Braunfels-based musician, will perform Joel’s greatest hits on Friday, April 22^nd at 7 p.m.

Cline has performed for crowds since he was 15, played with various bands in the Austin music scene and headlined for 12 years at the Four Seasons Hotel.  He now performs solo, leads a jazz trio and a church band, and teaches music students.

The Barnhill Center Producer Sharon Brass said she attended Cline’s sold-out show at the Brauntex Theatre, where he received “numerous enthusiastic standing ovations.”  She said, “It was amazing to hear Joel’s difficult body of work reproduced so authentically.”

Brass said Cline’s voice “is close to the real thing,” while his instrumentals “are perfectly matched to Joel’s original recordings.”
