PLEASANT WEATHER GREETS VISITORS AT BLUEBONNET FESTIVAL

  

Another successful Bluebonnet Festival is in the books. Windy but pleasant weather greeted visitors from across the state as they visited with vendors in Downtown Chappell Hill Saturday and Sunday.  The festival is put on by the Chappell Hill Historical Society and celebrates the official state flower, the Bluebonnet.

To alleviate some of the congestion at the intersection of Highway 290 and FM 1155, Washington County Precinct 2 Constable, Trey Holleway manually controlled the light at that intersection.  Romo gives an idea of the record crowd:
