The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office and the Caldwell Police Department are holding a joint press conference to introduce their new K-9 officers.
The press conference will be Tuesday at 10am at the Caldwell Civic Center. The public is invited to attend.
Deputy Marshall Bengs with his new K-9 partner Judge and Officer Coleman Decker along with his new K-9 partner Riggs will be on hand for a meet and greet.
The donations of the new K-9 officers were made possible by K9s4Cops and the generosity of sponsors, Dr. Sam Harrison and Julie Barnett Harrison.
K9s4COPS is a Texas based non-profit organization founded by philanthropist Kristi Schiller. They provide trained K-9 partners to law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and schools across the world.
