BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR THEFT & TRAFFIC WARRANTS, MARIJUANA POSSESSION
Brenham police arrested three people on Thursday.
Just shy of 11 a.m., Sergeant Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Burleson Street. Upon contact with the occupants, 37-year-old Marvin Frazier of Brenham showed to have three active traffic warrants, including two for Driving While License Invalid and one for No Driver’s License. Frazier was placed into custody for the active warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
Shortly before 7 p.m., Officer Eric Crosby conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Highway 290 East for a moving violation. During the investigation, 35-year-old Stacey Ann Smith of Houston was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Approaching 11:15 p.m., Officer Crosby conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of North Park Street after locating a vehicle associated with a wanted subject. The driver, 39-year-old Ashley White of College Station, was arrested on an active warrant out of the College Station Police Department for Theft of Property Less Than $2,500 with Previous Convictions. White was transported to the Washington County Jail without incident.
