WASHINGTON CO. CHAMBER TO HOST COMMUNITY HEALTH, FITNESS & WELLNESS EXPO

  

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce invites the public to its first-ever Community Health, Fitness & Wellness Expo.

The event is set for Thursday, October 20th from 8 a.m. to noon at the Blinn College Student Center in Brenham.

Four different information sessions will be presented throughout the morning, covering topics like mental health, senior care, nutrition and fitness, and women’s health.  Visitors can also meet with various exhibitors.

The expo and information sessions are free to the community.

A luncheon forum will be hosted at noon with keynote speaker Tiffany Berry, Vice President of Primary Care at Baylor Scott & White Health.  Tickets for the luncheon are $30 per person and $300 for a reserved table of eight.

The cost for an exhibitor table is $50 for Chamber members and $75 for non-members.  A limited number of exhibitors can register.

  1. As much information is needed in these areas it would be nice if this was affordable to the public. Mental health especially in times when families are extremely stressed. This should be open to the public. I was a caretaker for six years for a 92 year old while I had two in college which by the way I never got to see. Please consider organizing something like this for our tax payers that aren’t paying members.

    1. Hello! The Expo is free to the community from 8 – 12 to visit the exhibitors and listen to the four education session. There is a fee to attend the 12-1 luncheon and keynote speaker.
