BURTON TAKES UNBEATEN RECORD INTO SNOOK FOR A BIG DISTRICT GAME

The Burton Panthers will try to remain unbeaten on the season as they travel to Snook for more district action later this (Friday) evening.

Burton is currently 6-0 on the season, and 3-0 in district play.  The Panthers opened district with a 13-12 win over Falls City, followed by back-to-back blowout wins over Yorktown, 40-0, and last week's 52-7 victory over Louise.

Snook is looking to get back on the winning track after last week's 27-12 loss to Somerville.  They had won their district opener over Yorktown the prior week 56-6. The Blue Jays are 3-3 overall and 1-1 in district.

Coach Jason Hodde talked about what type of team the Panthers will be facing.

Kickoff is scheduled for tonight (Friday) at 7pm at Blue Jay Stadium in Snook.  It is the first of back-to-back weeks for Burton on that field. Next week, the Panthers will be the home team when they face off with Runge.

OTHER DISTRICT GAMES:

Somerville (3-4, 3-0) at Runge (1-5, 0-2)

Falls City (2-4, 1-1) at Louise (2-5, 1-2)

Yorktown (2-5, 0-3), bye
