GROUNDBREAKING FRIDAY FOR CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK’S NEW BRENHAM LOCATION

  

Citizens National Bank is set to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its permanent location in Brenham.

Construction crews arrived on Monday to begin work at the new bank, located at 400 South Austin Street.  The official groundbreaking will take place on Friday at 9:30 a.m.

According to Citizens National Bank Market President Jim Kruse, EBCO is serving as the general contractor for the project.  He said seven local subcontractors will be used on the job, and more may be used as the job proceeds.

The bank is currently serving clients at a temporary location at 317 South Austin Street, next to PoolTex.  Originally based out of Cameron, it has nine other locations across Milam, Lee, Williamson, Travis and Bell counties.
