WASHINGTON CO. APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD TO TAKE UP CONTRACT RENEWAL WITH BRENHAM ISD
The Washington County Appraisal District Board of Directors will vote on the annual renewal of its contract with Brenham ISD when it meets Tuesday.
The contract gives the school district the authority to perform the duties of the appraisal district under Texas Property Tax Code. The cost is equal to the appraisal district budget for the 2022-23 tax year, which is $1,216,200.
The board will also open bid proposals and potentially award a contract for complex property appraisal services.
Before moving into monthly reports, the board will take action on when to set its December meeting date, due to schedule conflicts.
The board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the appraisal district office at 1301 Niebuhr Street in Brenham.
