NAVASOTA POLICE HOSTING TREATS ON THE STREETS THIS HALLOWEEN

The Navasota Police Department is hosting “Treats on the Streets” in celebration of Halloween this Monday night.

Local organizations and businesses will be set up along the 200 block of Holland Street to hand out candy starting around 6pm.

“Treats on the Streets” will have one way access beginning at the intersection of Holland and LaSalle Streets near Snowflake Donuts.  The route will end in the parking lot of the Navasota City Municipal Building, where they are going to have a costume contest starting at 7pm.

Participants in the costume contest will be divided into four categories: three years old and under, 4-year-olds to kindergarten, 1st grade through 3rd grade, and 4th grade through 5th grade.

Trophies are going to be awarded to contestants placing first, second, and third.

If your business or organization would like to participate in “Treats on the Streets” this year, please contact Marla Gurka at the Navasota Police Department at 936-825-6124.
