BLINN BUCCANEER WOMEN REMAIN #5 IN LATEST POLL

The latest NJCAA Women’s Basketball Poll is out, and the Blinn Buccaneers remain in the #5 spot for another week.

South Georgia Tech is ranked #1 in the country with a 21-1 overall record. They received all 10 first place votes in the poll.

Meanwhile, it is Trinity Valley (18-1) at #2, Eastern Florida State (20-1) at #3, and Northwest Florida State (16-2) at #4.

The Bucs are currently 17-1 on the season. They are on an eight game winning streak during which they have dominated the opposing teams with an average margin of victory of 28.3 points per game.

McLennan Community College (15-2) is also nationally ranked at #10.

Next up, Blinn will host Angelina tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 5:30pm at the Kruse Center.  KWHI will have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 5:25pm.
