SMITHVILLE MAN KILLED IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH ON FM 390
A Smithville man was killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Washington County.
The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. on FM 390, near FM 50.
According to DPS, a 2018 Mazda CX9 was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and struck an eastbound 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, 41-year-old Cole Kay, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Mazda was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Brenham and treated for their injuries.
Investigation into the crash continues.
