NO GUN VIOLENCE RALLY PLANNED FOR FRIDAY
A No Gun Violence Rally is being held this Friday night in honor of the young man that was killed in a fatal shooting on April 1.
The rally is in memory of 17-year-old Marquise Deshawn Williams, who died after being shot when a fight at a birthday party in Brenham erupted in gunfire.
The No Gun Violence Rally will be held at the Fireman’s Park Pavilion in Brenham on Friday beginning at 6pm.
The sponsors of the event are the Brenham Game Changers, the GMF Riders, Brenham Pride Fitness Track, Brenham Youth Basketball, and JB Personalized Flyers.
Security will be enforced.
There is going to be a prayer circle and a balloon release.
Free food, drinks, and balloons are also available. The public is invited to attend.
