CUBS TRYING TO STAY IN HUNT WITH HOME GAME VS. MAGNOLIA

The Brenham Cub Baseball Team is looking to stay in the playoff hunt as they play host to the Magnolia Bulldogs this (Friday) evening at Fireman’s Park. 

The Cubs are coming off of an 8-3 victory this past Tuesday over the Bulldogs.

The win pulled Brenham into a three-way tie with Magnolia and College Station for fifth place.  They are one game behind Montgomery for the final playoff spot with three games to go. 

First pitch of tonight’s (Friday's) game is scheduled for 7pm.  KWHI will have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 6:35pm.

Other District 21-5A Games: College Station at Lake Creek, A&M Consolidated at Magnolia West, and Montgomery at Rudder

Meanwhile, the Burton Panthers are hosting Mumford this (Friday) evening at 6:30pm at Panther Field.  It is also Little League Night.  Kids wearing their jerseys to the game will get their name announced and can take the field with the players for the National Anthem.
