BLINN COLLEGE SBDC HOLDING QUICKBOOKS COURSE

  

The Blinn College Small Business Development Center is inviting the public to take part in their upcoming basic QuickBooks course.

The course will teach small business owners to get the most out of the popular desktop accounting software.  It will be held on Friday, May 19, from 9am-5pm at the A.W. Hodde Jr. Technical Education Center at 2910 South Blue Bell Road.

The class is being taught by Certified Public Accountant and certified QuickBooks advisor Julie Gilmore.

Topics for the course include setting up records, invoices, deposits and checks, accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliation, and running reports.

The Blinn SBDC provides each attendee with reference materials and a desktop computer to use during the course.

The course does not cover the online version of QuickBooks.

Registration is $100 per person and is available at www.blinn.edu/sbdc.

Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
