A local veteran organization is supporting the Fortnightly Club of Brenham.
The Brenham Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 139 donated $250 Wednesday morning to the club’s Home Life Department. The check was presented by DAV Commander-elect Carey Counsil.
The donation assists the club’s Veterans Pillow Project, which provides pillows to veterans.
