UIL BOYS GOLF STATE TOURNAMENTS TO OPEN TODAY (MONDAY)

The UIL Boys Golf State Tournaments get underway today (Monday) around the Austin area.

The 5A Tournament is being held at the White Wing Golf Club in Georgetown. From District 21-5A, Lake Creek will be sending their team of Brecken Franklin, Brody Knowlton, Tyler Sanford, Brady Bains, and Bryce McLaughlin. Jack Byrd of Lake Creek will also compete as an individual medalist.

In addition to that, District 21-5A has two individual medalists competing; Mason Brown of Magnolia West High School and Ian Clough from A&M Consolidated.

Bellville High School is taking part in the 4A Tournament that is being held at the Legends Golf Course in Kingsland. The team consists of Deacon Bauerschlag, Cooper Holleman, William Mudra, Emil Kloss, and Jason Wood.

Columbus High School is taking part in the 3A Tournament being held at the Jimmy Clay Golf Course in Austin. The team consists of Kaldon Roensch, Adam Schobel, Camdon Pitchford, Cullen Loessin, and Trace Braden.
