BRENHAM ISD TO HONOR DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI SEPT. 8
Brenham ISD will celebrate its 148th anniversary and recognize four outstanding graduates at its upcoming Distinguished Alumni luncheon.
The celebration will take place on Friday, September 8th beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Blinn College Student Center Banquet Room. The awards program starts at noon.
Highlighting the event will be the honoring of four individuals who have significantly contributed to their communities and brought pride to Brenham ISD:
- Merle Picone - Class of 1959
- Beverly Hamilton-Roberts - Class of 1969
- Bill Rankin - Class of 1970
- Wanda Smith - Class of 1981
Superintendent Dr. Tylor Chaplin says this anniversary celebration allows the school community to “reflect on the outstanding achievements of our alumni and their positive impact on the world.”
Seats for the luncheon are $30 each. Tables accommodate eight guests.
