BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING AFTER VEHICLE STRIKES PEDESTRIAN

  

The Brenham Police Department is investigating an auto-pedestrian crash that occurred over the weekend.

Police were dispatched around 10:30 a.m. Saturday to the 1700 block of Highway 105 in reference to a crash involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian.

Witnesses reported seeing the pedestrian walk in front of the vehicle before being struck.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.  The pedestrian was transported by Washington County EMS with undisclosed injuries.

Police say the incident is currently under investigation and that they will release more information at a later date.
