Washington County Precinct 1 Constable Ken Holle has declared his intent to run for re-election.

Holle first took office as constable in 2013 and has served in law enforcement since first earning his peace officer license in 1997.  He will run on the Republican ballot in the March 5, 2024 primary.

Holle says he values the partnerships his office has with other departments and agencies, and feels some of the best qualities to possess in this role are compassion and an understanding of how to serve the public.  He says his office has grown over the years, both in size and efficiency, to better meet the needs of Washington County residents.

Prior to being elected as constable, Holle served as a reserve deputy for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.  He is a lifetime member of the Sheriff’s Association of Texas, Washington County Peace Officers Association and Central Texas Justices of the Peace and Constables Association, the latter of which he is also past president of.

Holle thanks the community for its support and contributions to the constable’s office, saying they have gone a long way toward maximizing effectiveness and minimizing cost.

Ken resides in the William Penn community with his wife, Andrea.

The first day to file for a place on the primary ballot is November 11th.
