SIX CANDIDATES SEEKING ELECTION TO WASHINGTON CO. CHAMBER BOARD
Washington County Chamber of Commerce members are receiving ballots for the annual Chamber Board of Directors election.
Members will vote to select six new directors for a three-year term ending December 2026.
Nominees for the Chamber Board are Myron Dippel, Executive Dean of Blinn College’s Brenham Campus; Joyce Dickschat, Vice President and Lobby Services Manager at Brenham National Bank; Alpesh Patel, Owner and General Manager of Holiday Inn Express; Justin Boone, Operations Director of Corrosion Resistant Alloys; Kathrine Briscoe, Partner and Visitor Experience Manager for Visit Brenham; and Clay Gillentine, Assistant Superintendent and Acting Superintendent of Brenham ISD.
A nominating committee assigned by the Chairman of the Board and President meets every August to develop a list of candidates.
Chamber members can select the candidates on the ballot or write-in a candidate.
Ballots must be submitted electronically by October 31st.
Board members whose terms expire this December are Dan Blalock of Brenham Abstract & Title Co., Jim Chisolm of Texas Star Winery, Kara Matheney of Washington County AgriLife Extension Service, Shay Morrow of QuestSpecialty Corporation, and Darron Smith of Brenham National Bank.
