LADY PANTHERS CAPTURE DISTRICT TITLE WITH SWEEP OF MILANO
The Burton Lady Panthers captured the District 25-2A Championship last night with a three set sweep over the Milano Lady Eagles.
Burton won the sets 26-24, 25-22, and 25-22.
Amaya Williams had 15 kills and 10 digs. Paige Fritsch dished out 46 assists and had 12 digs. Kinsey Lunbeck added 12 kills.
Aerynn Huntsman finished with 9 kills and 9 digs. Bailey Glaesmann added 8 kills. Reagan Roemer led the defense with 20 digs.
Burton will face Holland in the Bi-District Round of the Playoffs. The match will be Tuesday night (Halloween) at 6:30pm at Caldwell High School. KWHI will broadcast the game live on the KWHI.com Sports Alternate Feed.
