BELLVILLE FFA IN INDIANAPOLIS THIS WEEK FOR NATIONALS
Bellville FFA members are competing this week at the national level.
The Bellville FFA Chapter’s Ag Sales Team and Greenhand Chapter Conducting Team are in Indianapolis for the 96th National FFA Convention and Expo.
The Ag Sales Team is in contention with 42 other teams from across the country. Its tasks include a virtual team activity, a test over sales concepts, and performing individual sales calls and customer service calls.
Members of the Ag Sales Team are Maddie Diezi, Ainsley Hancock, Jack Luedeker, Jaylen Tesch and instructor Christi Tobola.
The Chapter Conducting Team will compete against 44 other teams nationwide. Its activities comprise of a 25 question test over a mix of the FFA manual and Robert’s Rules of Order. Team members will then complete a mock business meeting and show how to properly run a meeting.
The Chapter Conducting Team consists of Katelyn Krenek, Darcy Luedke, Layne Malinowski, Levi Malinowski, Maddie McCullough, Katie Schumann, Shane Sturm, Matthew Wybro and instructor Rod Vincent.
The winners of the sales contest will be announced on Thursday at 7 p.m., while the winners of the chapter conducting contest will be revealed on Friday at 2 p.m.
