WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEET TUESDAY TO DISCUSS SEVERAL ITEMS

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court will meet Tuesday morning to discuss multiple topics.

The Commissioners are going to hear a pair of presentations.  The first one will be the Sexual Assault Response Team’s Biennial Report, while the other will be an update on the Historical Commission Project.

Action items on the agenda include a formal notice for a water service installation by Corix Utilities in the Palestine Road right-of-way in Precinct One, placing Crestview Lane in the Spring Creek Estates Section Three Subdivision into a one-year maintenance period, and a contract for representation of indigent defendants.

They are also going to take up a pair of Oil and Gas Development Permits.  One is for Watt Energy Operating LLC on Sun Oil Road in Precinct Three, while the other is for Wildfire Energy Operating LLC on Oevermann Road in Precinct Four.

The Commissioners Court is also expected to authorize the County Engineer to seek bids for the 2024 annual bid items such as Contract mowing, culverts, drive bridge piling, fuel, oil/asphalt/emulsion, road construction materials, tires, and steel products.

The Washington County Commissioners meet Tuesday at 9am in their chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
