FRIENDSWOOD SPOILS HOME OPENER FOR THE CUBS

The Friendswood Mustangs spoiled the home opener for the Brenham Cub Baseball Team as they beat them 15-2 at Fireman's Park on Tuesday night.

Both of the Cub runs came on a two-run homer by Drake Bentke. Dawson Keim took the loss on the hill.

Next up, the Cubs will be taking part in the Clear Creek ISD Tournament, which runs Thursday-Saturday. Thursday's games will be at Clear Brook High School.

On Thursday, Brenham faces Clear Brook at 1pm, followed by Texas City at 3:30pm.
