  1. Growing up here in Brenham, Texas, I can’t help but feel concerned about the recent incidents of car break-ins. It’s unfortunate that such incidents occur, but it’s a reminder for all of us to prioritize our safety and security. In times like these, it’s essential to consider preventive measures to protect our belongings. If anyone needs any advice or information on enhancing the security of their home or business, feel free to reach out. Stay safe, everyone!

  2. One easy thing to do is locate the fuse box and pull ignition or fuel pump fuse and the only way its going to leave your property is if its towed. Now you do have to replace the fuse when you get ready to go but most likely your vehicle will be there. You will most likely have to buy needle nose pliers to remove the fuse. Diagrams on the fuse box labeled. Good luck!

  3. There are more vehicles being stolen than reported on KWHI. My vehicle was stolen last Tuesday the 5th, from my home.. from my DRIVEWAY. At 6:57 PM! These thief’s stole my car in a matter of 15 minutes! Doors locked and no key in the ignition. That fast. Please be on the lookout and get full coverage on your cars! The theif(s) are still on the loose and I believe it is coming from the same person.

  4. Kia / Hyundai owners beware, especially for owners of similar year model vehicles. There is a known problem with certain models of these vehicles that makes them especially susceptible to auto theft. Seems the problem that has reached many corners of the country might be poking into Washington County. Check with your local Hyundai dealer about software update to protect your car. More below.
