LOCAL REALTOR AWARDS 2ND ANNUAL COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

  

For the second year in a row, a local realtor has given back to the community by awarding college scholarships to some deserving Brenham High School student-athletes.

Eric Benitez of Cedar Frame Realty awarded four scholarships of $500 each to State Powerlifting Champion Michael Gonzalez, as well as, Halle Scheel, who played both basketball and softball, and football players Connor Schlottman and Blake Robinson.

To be eligible for the scholarships, the student-athletes had to follow a set of criteria.

They had to maintain a 3.0 grade point average, provide two letters of recommendation, and write an essay detailing their achievements and future goals.
