BHS ART STUDENT RANKED AMONG THE BEST AT STATE ART FESTIVAL
A Brenham High School art student won big at the recent Texas State Visual Arts Scholastic Event.
Katherine Inestroza submitted an oil painting entitled, “Buen Dia con Edin,” which translates to “ A Good Day with Edin.”
Her painting was judged to be exemplary and in the top 7% of all the best artwork in the State of Texas.
For her efforts, Inestroza received a medallion that will be on display in the arts cases at Brenham High School along with her award-winning painting.
