LA GRANGE MAN SENTENCED TO 40 YEARS FOR MURDER
A La Grange man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to murder.

31-year-old Denzale Jydon Myles was sentenced on Wednesday by District Judge Jeff Steinhauser for the death of Ezrianna Poncik on September 4, 2021 at the Green Acres Apartments near La Grange.
Myles also received a 2-year sentence for possessing a stolen firearm in connection to the murder.
Poncik, who was 20 years old when she was killed, was in a relationship with Myles at the time.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office announced on September 7, 2021 that Myles was arrested in Bastrop County. He has been in Fayette County custody since then.
