‘HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES’ WRAPS UP 20TH SEASON WITH TRIBUTE TO ’80s
Downtown Brenham’s “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” concluded its 20th anniversary season on Saturday with a trip back in time to the days of bright neon and leg warmers.
The Spicolis entertained large crowds with the greatest pop and rock hits of the '80s and the MTV generation.
Along with the free music, concertgoers were able to check out the Stray Katz Car Club’s classic car cruise-in and enjoy food and refreshments from local establishments and food trucks.
Meanwhile, the Zythological Society of North America had several dozen people come out to try various craft beers at its “Hot Nights, Cold Brews” event at the Ant Street Inn.
The concert was sponsored by Budweiser – Mike Hopkins Distributing, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, Strand Associates, and RCR Rail – Jeffrey Pittman.
