BRENHAM PD BOOKS ONE FOR DRUG POSSESSION WARRANT, ANOTHER ON WARRANTS INCLUDING SMUGGLING

  

Brenham police arrested two people on Monday for a series of warrants.

Nearing 10:15 a.m., Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 1800 block of Highway 290 East.  The driver, 21-year-old Mario Valdivia of Austin, was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Travis County for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 (Cocaine) Less than a Gram.

Around 1:30 p.m., Sgt. Ha stopped a vehicle near the 2300 block of Stringer Street.  The passenger, 24-year-old Zachary Wilson of Brenham, was placed into custody for four active warrants out of Brazos County, Sutton County and Washington County: Smuggling of Persons, Motion to Proceed/Obstructing a Highway, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.
