EIGHT SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT

  

Eight people pleaded guilty and were sentenced last week in 21st District Court before Judge John Winkelmann.

46-year-old Toray Lamont Moore of Washington, sentenced to 15 years in prison for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a second degree felony.

20-year-old Javorian Deshaun Jones of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years in prison for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, a third degree felony.  He was also sentenced to 2 years in prison for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a second degree felony, and Deadly Conduct – Discharge of a Firearm, a third degree felony.

20-year-old Charles Wayne Ramirez Jr. of Brenham, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years in prison for Assault of a Family Member Impeding Breath or Circulation, a third degree felony. 

61-year-old Randy Eugene Clayton Sr. of Brenham, sentenced to 196 days in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony. 

37-year-old George Henry Rogers-McGee of Chappell Hill, sentenced to 98 days in the Washington County Jail for Theft of Property $2,500 - $30,000, a state jail felony. 

25-year-old Tristan Lane Schwartz of Brenham, sentenced to 8 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a second degree felony.  Schwartz was also fined $1,500 and ordered to pay $100 to a family violence shelter, complete an anger management course and perform 200 hours of community service.

36-year-old Tyrone Trent Crear of Killeen, sentenced to 8 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams, a second degree felony.  Crear was also fined $1,000 and ordered to complete a drug offender education program.  Additionally, he was convicted of state jail felony-level Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, in which he was given time served on that charge.

26-year-old Alexander Glenn Berdeaux of Glen, sentenced to 8 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, a third degree felony.  Berdeaux was also ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, complete a drug offender education program and perform 200 hours of community service.
