BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

A Brenham man was arrested by local police on Tuesday on marijuana and drug paraphernalia charges.

Approaching 8 p.m., Brenham Police Sergeant Tiffany Anderson conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Highway 290 West for a license plate violation. 

After conducting a probable cause search, police took the driver of the vehicle, 47-year-old Corey LaRoche, into custody.  He was searched and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
