BURTON VB SPLITS MATCHES IN BELLVILLE

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team split their matches at Bellville High School yesterday (Tuesday).

The Lady Panthers swept Round Top-Carmine in the opener 3-0. Burton won the sets 25-22, 25-17, and 25-8.

In the second match, Burton nearly rallied, but ultimately fell to the Bellville Brahmanettes in five sets . Bellville won the first two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-15.

Burton evened the sets with a 25-13 victory in the third set and a 25-16 victory in fourth set to make it 2-2.

However, the Brahmanettes came back to win the final set 15-12.

Burton's record is now 26-9 on the season. They are off the rest of this week for the Washington County Fair. They are back in action next Tuesday, September 23, when they host Aggieland Home School at the Burton High School Gym. The JV game is at 5pm, followed by the Varsity afterwards.
