BLINN FOOTBALL’S COOPER NAMED NJCAA DI DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Defensive Back Caleb Cooper of the Blinn Buccaneer Football Team has been named the NJCAA Division I Defensive Player of the Week.
In this past Saturday’s 34-21 victory over New Mexico Military Institute, Cooper had 14 tackles including 11 solo and three assists.
He also intercepted two passes and had 28 yards in returns.
Cooper is a Freshman from Darrow, Louisiana.
He and the Bucs will be traveling to Corsicana this Saturday to face #5 Ranked Navarro in a conference game at 3pm.
