CRASH WITH ENTRAPMENT ONE OF THREE CALLS TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called out three times on Tuesday. 

A few minutes after 7:15 p.m., firefighters were dispatched for a smoke investigation at North Dixie and West Main Streets.  However, they were unable to locate any smoke, so they returned to service.

At 8:15 p.m., units responded to a reported structure fire at a home in the 800 block of Marie Street.  They made location to find no fire, but there was a busted water pipe in the house.  The department helped the resident turn the water off.

At 11:15 p.m., BFD members went out to a crash with entrapment in the 1900 block of Highway 290 West.  There, they found a two-vehicle crash with what they described as heavy damage to each vehicle.  Firefighters provided extrication for one person and stood by until the roadway was cleared.  The status of the patient is unknown.
