BRENHAM POLICE RELEASE DETAILS, IDENTIFY VICTIM IN FATAL WEEKEND CRASH
Brenham police released information on Friday about a fatal rollover crash this past Saturday that led to the death of a Brenham man.
Shortly after 4 p.m., Brenham police officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Highway 290 West in reference to an accident.
According to police, their preliminary investigation revealed that a 2003 GMC Sierra was traveling westbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle after the wheels left the roadway, causing the vehicle to flip and land on its roof.
The driver, identified as 28-year-old Adam Glenn Rodgers, was reportedly ejected from the vehicle. Police said he was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Police say their investigation is ongoing and that no further details are available at this time.
According to a GoFundMe created by family members to assist with memorial expenses, Rodgers was traveling with his two children when the accident occurred. They both survived the crash and were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
