Tuesday’s meeting of the board of trustees includes a routine consent agenda item for the approval of hiring for the position.

Dr. Marcelo Bussiki has held the role since January 2019, after first joining Blinn College in 2001 as a music instructor.  According to Blinn Communications Director Richard Bray, Dr. Bussiki has announced that he will retire at the end of the semester.

Trustees will not have any regular session action items to consider, but they will hear administrative and financial reports, as well as an update on the College’s master plan projects.

The board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the third-floor board room of the Brenham Campus Administration Building.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Blinn College’s YouTube channel.
