BURTON VOLLEYBALL UP TO #2 IN LATEST TGCA POLL

The latest Texas Girls Coaches Association poll is out, and the Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team is up to #2 in the state in Class 2A.

Burton is 33-9 on the season. They are also 6-0 in District 26-2A, where they can clinch the championship with a win over Somerville later tonight (Tuesday).

So far in district, the Lady Panthers have yet to lose even a single set. They are also on a seven-match winning streak.

After Somerville, Burton faces Snook on Friday in the district finale. The Lady Panthers have scheduled a warm-up game for the playoffs against Leon next Tuesday at 5:30pm at the Burton High School Gym.
